At ECS you will have the opportunity to be part of an innovative and dynamic IT team. As the IT Service Desk & Digital Solutions Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of professionals to drive excellence in IT services and digital solutions. You will work in a team of 8 IT professionals within the larger IT team of around 45 - to ensure the seamless operation of the modern workplace, the service desk and the successful implementation and maintenance of innovative digital solutions. You will oversee key projects such as Teams telephony, CRM, and centralized document management, while leveraging the benefits of AI to enhance our IT capabilities."
Your role as an IT Service Desk & Digital Solutions Manager at ECS:
- Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of 5 Service Desk professionals and 3 Digital Project Analysts. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
- Service Desk Oversight: Ensure efficient handling of 1st and 2nd line support calls, and manage workplace, meeting room IT infrastructure, visitor registration systems, etc. Measure user satisfaction and ensure users are well-informed and empowered to use their tools to maximize efficiency.
- Digital Solutions Management: Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of digital solutions, including modern workplace apps, hyper-automation tools, and line-of-business applications.
- Project Management: Drive IT projects, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and alignment with business goals. Prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
- Customer Satisfaction: Champion a customer-first approach, ensuring internal users' needs are met promptly and effectively.
- Strategic Vision: Develop and implement strategies for upcoming projects like the creation of a central Document Management Platform and implementation of CRM with a bespoke pricing calculation, maximizing the benefits of digital tools.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the larger IT team (50+ members) and be an integral part of the IT management team.
- Budget & Supplier Management: Manage the sub-department's budget and oversee supplier and contract management to ensure cost-effective and efficient operations.

- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues.
- Experience with modern workplace applications, hyper-automation tools, and line-of-business applications, and a vision for leveraging technology to enhance business outcomes.
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English, both written and spoken, French is a plus.
